Project Description

This story is about beautiful people and exceeding the limits. And, like any story, this begins with “once upon a time…”. Once, not long ago, an organization called Via Civic, gathered 29 young and not so young people, eager to get to know themselves and self-compet, in the Pirin mountains in Bulgaria.

Like any story, it started with a journey. To Dobrinishte, a place of quiet in which the sky rests on the mountains – so close, that you seem to reach the horizon. The story is simple: the 29 people had to pass in their journey that lasted for 6 days, a series of obstacles: the language barrier, intense program, a lot of information, challenging tasks, to – at the end – understand what it means to create a campaign. How to conceptualize a smart objective, who the beneficiaries of the campaign are and who are the target groups, how to create a material that is impacting, how do I communicate my campaign convincingly – are some of the questions that the trainers helped us find answers to.

But beyond that, it was a journey to our inner world, to what we are and what we can do for every one of us. It was a story about inner challenges, about overcoming your own limits, about the discovery of some resources that can lead us to dreams, a story about beautiful and good people. And how the stories also have a good fairy, the one in our story called Deiana. With a magical touch of a wand, made after 6 days, the 29 people from all corners of Europe became 29 friends who, over the years, will remember a corner of heaven, called Dobrinishte and some wonderful people, with whom they did this short but wonderful journey.
